Cast and credits for the 1997 season.


This, the official opening year, marked the creation of a system of having two companies working in tandem. Each would perform two plays, only one of which would be by Shakespeare.

The Red Rose company performed "The Life of Henry the Fift" by William Shakespeare and "A Chaste Maid in Cheapside" by Thomas Middleton.

The White Rose company performed "A Winter's Tale" by William Shakespeare and "The Maid's Tragedy" by Francis Beaumont and John Fletcher.
