Cast and credits for the 2003 season.

The 2003 season is the Globe's most ambitious yet. It features two companies and five different productions. Of these five, three were written by Shakespeare, but the other two are works by the almost equally famous Christpher Marlowe and are the first of his plays to be performed at the new Globe theatre.

The all male Red company will perform Richard II (Shakespare), initially in Middle Temple Hall, then subsequently throughout the Globe season, and Edward II (Marlowe)from July onwards. The all female White company will perform Richard II (Shakespeare) from the end of May onwards and The Taming of the Shrew (Shakespare) from August. The fifth play, Dido, Queen of Carthage (Marlowe), runs from June onwards and will be performed by a selection of actors taken from both Red and White companies.
