All of the photographs on this site were taken by myself. More pictures will appear when I have time to scan them in. To view a larger image, simply click on the thumbnail or description.

Please note that filming or photography during regular performances is strictly forbidden due to copyright and safety regulations. Therefore there will never be any images displayed here depicting actors or musicians on stage from any of the Globe's own companies. Sometimes visiting companies to the Globe permit photography of their own performances, in these rare cases I will try to insert a selection onto these pages.

Visitors to the Globe theatre and exibition may purchase official postcards many of which contain scenes from plays performed at the Globe. In addition there is a regular magazine available (free to members of The Friends of Shakespeare's Globe) containing many more pictures and articles about the theatre and plays.

I have created these galleries due to overwhelming demand, however they are no substitute for actually seeing the theatre for yourself. I would strongly recommend that if you are going to be visiting the Globe in person, you refrain from viewing these pictures until after your visit, since it is much nicer to be surprised.
