Globe Productions

Shakespeare's Globe Theatre officially opened in May 1997 with a production of The Life of Henry V. The previous year however, another play was performed on a temporary stage within the half completed theatre, and while the season was quite short it attracted crowds almost as large as the years that have followed.
This page is intended as an introduction to the plays that have been performed on the stage at the new Globe theatre. The links below lead to cast listings and in some cases reviews and memories.
